For my graduate school program's capstone, I had the opportunity to gain mentorship from IBM's Cloud Data and AI team in a project to redesign an existing application with gaps in AI and trust. This team taught me, along with a group of 4 other designers, how to apply IBM's design thinking process to improve Facebook's application of AI through UX. Through this capstone, I learned how to successfully carry out discovery workshops, along with planning and executing research plans. Through this application redesign, users' trust ratings improved from 2.5 to 4 out of 5.
